Sandstone Arbor Care LLC is a fully insured tree care business located in beautiful Green Lake, Wisconsin. We specialize in all aspects of tree care including: pruning, disease/insect treatment, removals, cabling/bracing, and tree planting. We utilize the latest technology and equipment to safely care for your trees with minimal disturbance to your property. We look forward to taking care of all your tree care needs.
Nicholas Vandervelde | Owner
Nick first fell in love with Wisconsin's majestic oak trees while spending summers on his grandparent's summer camp in Green Lake. He obtained his degree in Arboriculture from MATC and is a Certified Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture. Nick founded Sandstone Arbor Care in 2018 with the goal of providing high quality tree care to Green Lake and surrounding communities.
Tom Wolfe | Head of Plant Health Care
Tom holds a degree in Horticulture form University of Wisconsin in Madison. Tom spent 33 years as the Head Gardener/Horticulturist at the Chicago Art Institute, winning Chicago's Best Public Garden's Award in 2010. During his career in Chicago, Tom also designed gardens for the Shedd Aquarium, Orchestra Hall, and the University of Notre Dame. Tom is an avid history buff and is currently planning his first trip to Ireland aboard the Queen Mary.
Dave Ryan | Climbing Arborist
Dave holds a degree in Forestry from the University of Minnesota. Dave has been a practicing arborist in Minnesota and Wisconsin for the past 30 years. His primary focus was consulting with municipalities and utility companies in the science of arboriculture. Currently, Dave specializes in technical tree removals requiring a skilled climber. When he's not swinging in the trees, you may catch him cycling around our beautiful lakes.
Jorg Diekman | Crew Leader
Jorg is a native of Namibia in the south of Africa. 5 years ago, Jorg and his wife set out on an epic adventure, sailing from Namibia to Baltimore to start a new life in America. Jorg is a lover of the natural world so tree care has been a natural fit. He is an incredible welder/fabricator and maintains the companies fleet of trucks and equipment. Jorg and his wife raise chickens, cows, and few ducks on their beautiful 20 acre farm.
